Tiger's Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang)
Bhutan's most iconic landmark clings to a cliff 900 meters above Paro valley. This sacred Buddhist monastery, built around the cave where Guru Rinpoche meditated, requires a challenging 2-3 hour hike. The reward is breathtaking views and profound spiritual atmosphere in this architectural marvel.

Punakha Dzong
Called the Palace of Great Happiness, this stunning fortress-monastery sits at the confluence of two rivers. Built in 1637, it serves as winter residence of the central monk body. The dzong features intricate paintings, carved woodwork, and courtyards, connected by the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan.

Buddha Dordenma Statue
This massive 51-meter bronze Buddha statue overlooks Thimphu valley, containing over 125,000 smaller Buddha statues inside. Built to fulfill an ancient prophecy and emanate blessings, the golden statue shimmers against Himalayan peaks. The surrounding meditation halls and gardens offer peaceful contemplation spaces.
